The Law of Nature: Demands Changes

By Benzir Shaon

“Nature” – a word, but its meaning is great. Here, what we see, what we feel is a part of nature. And the word “Law” – means the certain rule. Here, the word “Law of Nature” – means the certain rule in the universe.

Here everything wants a change. We know everything goes with a certain law. Let us come to the information affairs. Once upon a time all the information was stored in paper. Gradually it has changed. Information now gathered in computer disks. At the same time it's now available in web sites. This is going to be “tomorrow's information giant”. Not only electronics or information; everything, even nature wants changes.

We should let the rules to be changes & we must be friendly for the positive changes.

What is Happiness?

By Benzir Shaon

Happiness is a comparative matter. It differs from man to man. Basically it's nothing but one's satisfaction with the things what he or she have already. That means if we wants to say it in short, happiness is another name of satisfaction.

When I Feel Bored At home

By Benzir Shaon

I'm a student of a private university. I've to go to my university 3 days of a week. The rest of 4 days have no classes. During this time I miss my teachers, friends, internet, and newspapers. At home I do my computer tasks, read books. Sometimes I feel bore with these works. I've the only younger sister, who goes to her job at 8. My mother is also a service holder. She also leaves me within 9. I spend my whole time alone at home. This is another reason that I feel bore at home. As there is no other person to stay at home when another two are absent, I'm compelled to do so.

But after all, sometimes I do my important tasks, such as my home works, computer tasks, video games and so on…which are not too boring always!

I’m In The Hell

By Benzir Shaon

Everyone wants to go to heaven. But unfortunately I’m in the hell. It’s not a good place. It’s too hot in some places. And in some places it is too cold. Hell doesn’t have any good weather. Everywhere it is black. I can see dead trees standing like guards. The sun cannot be seen. I can hear the screams of human being. They are cursed by Allah. Marcellus punishments are going upon them.  Here people are always scared. Seeing everything, it seems to me that hell is really a bad place.

If I Were A Thief!

By Benzir Shaon

Everyone has his or her own view about the life. Everyone has also his own aim. Though to be a thief is not a good choice, but if I were a thief, I would do some good things for my society. In addition, if I were a thief I would never take it as my earning livelihood. I would steal only to perform some good activities for my society. If I were a thief, I would steal adulterated medicine. Many people die for taking illegal and adulterated medicine. I would also steal drugs that make people addicted, such as: heroine, cocaine, caffeine etc. There are many addicted people all over the world heading to death. The number of addicted people in our country is not so small. Therefore, if I can reduce the supply of these addictive drugs, I think the number of drug addictives will be reduced. I want to make a team of thief to run my activities smoothly. I do not know if I ever been a thief like that, but this kind of thief is always welcome.

My Favorite Bengali Festival

Pahela Baishakh

By Benzir Shaon

Pahela Baishakh” – refers to the first day of Bangla New Year. I do not know except the English any nation celebrate their own new year like this way. Everyday I have to lead a chained & routine life. So, it breaks the monotony. I go outside wearing “Punjabi” in the morning. My friends gather in Ramna Square . I meet with them, gossip and eat together at noon. It seems to me that, the whole Bangladesh has worn color dress. People come out, arrange colourful rally, and arrange cultural programs, which reflects the heritage. People in cities cannot see or enjoy the real colour of nature, which villagers can do. The most significant side of the day is, on that day we forget our religion, age, class or status. However, we have many festivals but I think it is the most colourful one.

The Last Weeding party I Attend

By Benzir Shaon

It was 12 February of 2005. A weeding ceremony took place in Gulshan Club. As I had a class in my university, I reached lately. It was about half past seven. I found my relatives. Some of my friends of university accompanied me. The dinner was served at about 10 o’clock. I sit for dinner in first batch with my mother and sister. We enjoyed a lot. I also made some jokes with the guests. But the most amusing part of the ceremony was the entrance of the bride. We reached home at about 11:30. It was really a nice ceremony.

Two Things I Want

To Change About Myself

By Benzir Shaon

Everyone has his own faults that he knows. He always tries to get rid of from those faults. I have many faults in my life, too. I want to change them; if possible now! The first one is maintaining time. It is getting harder because of my irresponsibility. Another thing is that, I want to be more pious. Because I believe, nothing is possible without Almighty. So, if I do not satisfy Him I cannot be satisfied with my daily works. So, if I can change these two things, I believe that, I do better in every sphere of life.

My Dream Person

By Benzir Shaon

Like others, I dream a dream person. It is not that she needs to be too beautiful. But she has to have a good look. The most important thing is that, she will be talented and pious. I think theses are two important things that make a person perfect. My dream person must have to come from a good family. In most cases, the family boldly influences a person. I want to share about everything with my dream person and also hope that good decisions and good thoughts will come from her. I also hope she will share her hopes, dreams, likes, dislikes, joys and pains. She must be smart in dress-up, thoughts and activities. My dream person will be a Bangladeshi, pure Bangladeshi girl. She will be calm and quiet like me. I hope we will be happy couple.

The Most Craziest Thing I Want To Do

By Benzir Shaon

There is a wise saying that nothing is impossible for human being. I believe the saying, though primarily if anyone hears my plan he or she may think that I am nothing but a mad person. Today the stronger countries of the world are forcefully dominating the weaker countries. Here “Might is right” -  rule is followed. So, what I want is that, I want to be the chief of the government of the most powerful and the strongest country. So, if I would be so, I would attack the countries who are illegally dominating other weaker countries. And at the same time, I would help the poorer countries, so that they can do better. In some recent wars, weaker countries are illegally attacked and they are facing a lot of destruction. But at the same time, nothing is happened in the stronger country. That is why I want to be the chief of the strongest country, so that I can help the poor and weak.

My Ideal Holiday

By Benzir Shaon

Now a day it is hard to pick up a day for holiday. We are all leading a life like a machine. To break this monotonous daily routine we need holiday. Last year I got a chance to spend a nice holiday. I spent the day with my two friends “ Nandan Park ” which is not so far from my living place. In the morning, my other two friends met me at my home. We started at about 9:30 after taking our breakfast. We went to Motijhil, got on the bus and the journey started. It took about three and a half hour. Entering the park, we were astonished. It was really a large area. Another interesting thing is that, there is a park within a park called “Water World”. It is the only water park in of our country. We rode some of the rides. After that, we took some light foods and enjoyed the whole day. There was game where people can test their fate. We all returned back home at about 7:30 pm. Though at that time, we were physically tired, but mentally we were fresh.

A Stormy Night

By Benzir Shaon

As we know Bangladeshi we are very much familiar with storm. In the beginning of every Bangla year we face tremendous storm, which is called “Kal Boishakhir Jhor”. I can remember a night of storm. The first month of Bangla New Year was passing. I was in my home at that time sitting on my chair of my study room. Suddenly I heard that, a terrible bomb had blasted. A few moments later I discovered that, it was a sound of thunder and at the same time I understood the sky was prepared itself to throw its water to the earth with its full strength. Suddenly the electricity had gone, that made the whole surroundings ghostly. I like to see storms through the glasses of window as I like to watch drama on TV.

Horse: My Favorite Animal

By Benzir Shaon

Allah has created so many animals. There are various types of animals in the world. We know very few of them. Among them we the human being is His best creation. Among four legged animals I like horse the best. Though it’s not very familiar in our country, it’s not our native animal too. They are found in Middle East or in India especially. They are generally used to pull or carry something. They can run very fast. The thing which I like most about them is that they are very faithful to their master. In ancient days horses have changed the result of the war. As we are using technologies always, the use of horse has reduced.

Education: The Definition

By Benzir Shaon

Generally, to common people education means the educational degree from institutions like school, college or universities. That is a form of education, it’s true; but it’s not everything about education! The concept of education is very vast. It cannot be defined within a single sentence or a paragraph. Education or knowledge can be gathered from any where, any situation or person of any age or class. Many talented people who never got admitted to any educational institutions has shown much more better things than any other educated persons. Such as: Lalon Shah or Rabindranath Tagore. Many farmers who don’t even know how to write are much more conscious and conceptually or intellectually developed than any other educated people. So, from here we can say the words of Promoth Chowdhurty, “Self education is the best education.” Many people have defined education in many ways with many definitions. But the best knowledge or education is the knowledge of the Quran, learning the Quran, knowing the Quran.

My Favorite Restaurant

By Benzir Shaon

Hotel Nirob is my favorite restaurant. It is in Lalbag. One of the most important characteristics of the restaurant is that, it has more than 20 items of curry. It has different kinds of meat, “vorta”, vegetable curry, fish, fry etc. Their food quality is better than other restaurants and their food’s price is cheaper than other. They are very strict about their quality. Another good side of that restaurant is that, they have made a good environment. This restaurant is good for launch actually. Many student and people from different lifestyles come here. At noon, it is hard to manage to sit here, though it is two storied. People can take food to outside and so that they have built up a good packing process. They are very professional and expert about serving food. The carries are served in small stele made plates; it is another interesting point. Though I live in Azimpur a little bit far from the restaurant, but whenever in get chance I try to sit for a launch.
