This is my first successful program in any TV channel where I have seen myself on screen with my own eyes (!). One day Shohel Mama told me, there is an opportunity to perticipate in a TV show. I heard the recording time and found I can go. I was again a little bit late to reach there in Channel's office Noor Tower (the spot). One thing, Shohel Mama got to know about it from another one who worked there, Palash Thakur. Reaching there I met him. The regular program "Public Forum"'s that episode's topic was "Professionals' Politics and Organization". The program was anchored by known journalist Mahfuzullah and the two guests were: president of Gonotronti Party and Trade Union Centre Nurul Islam and the editor of the Daily Bangladesh Today and former scretery of Bangladesh Government Asafuddoulah Khan.

It was a magazine program for children under Chennel I Eid Programs' Schdule. And this is for the first time where I worked behind camera, not infront of and Shohel Mama's first TV show with his anchoring and direction. I reached at the spot in late again (as usual what I used to do). The shooting spot was Bangladesh Shishu Academy and Shuchona Office in Azimpur. Without a gap of some hours I spent the whole day on shooting. Actually we shooted all in a day. With me there were another program co-ordinator Al-Amin Talukdar.

This is for the first time where I was shown in TV screen. I came to know about this program from a notice in the university. The program was recorded in DFP Auditorium, (Kakrail, Dhaka). On first day (2 July 2006, evening) I was late as usual and I found the recoding has already been started. Later I was informed the first shooting will be recorded on 4 July 2006. So, July 4 was the first day of shooting. Later on, I took part in two more episodes on 5 and 9th instant. I am very grateful to the smart presenter Chowdhury Abdullah Quaseed, Bikram, Sagar, producer and the whole unit who gave me a cordial and friendly support. The topics for 3 episode shootings were...

1. Don't you want to be a politician? What qualities should a modern politician of the future have? (Apni ki rajnitibid hote channa? Vobisshot rajnitibidder ki dhoroner gunaboli thaka dorkar?)
2. To assume political ledership and power actually means undertaking a lot of responsibilities and burdens; and yet why is that everyone seems to be wanting to take over governing power? (Rajnoitik khomotai obostan korar ortho hocche prochur daitto kadhe nea - tarporo shobai khomotai jete chai keno?)
3. The generation gap between the youth and their gurdians seem to be ever widening? What steps can be taken to reconcile the differences and who can take the greatest initiatives? Is it time for our cultural beliefs to change? (Bortoman shomoye obivabok o shontander chintadharar moddhe baapok parthokko lokkho kora jacche. Chintadharake shomoyopojogi kore gore tolar jonno kader bhumika shobchaite beshi? Chintadhara poribortoner shomoy esheche ki?)

The allocated time for each episodes shooting was 2 hours, though sometimes we missed it. On my 2nd day shooting a problem found, one of the unit went to solve that, to bring new battery. That day we enjoyed a lot within the gap; we sang, danced etc. I found many friends from my university as most of the participants came through the notice posted on the university wall. On the last day of my shooting I stayed upto evening and that was the last day of shooting for first episodes.

Unfortunately I missed all the programs; that menas I couldn't watch my programs on TV. But many university friends even some of relatives informed about my face on TV screen. Oh, just like a star!

For the 2nd time for shooting for next episodes I again invited by the smart anchor C. A. Quaseed by eMail. This time we found a very beautiful air conditioned stooting spot instead of the previous gloomy, warm set. It was in Sports Zone (Mohakhali, Dhaka). But this time I didn't sit infront of camera; I was only present on the first day.

It was the first time I entered in a TV office. It was BTV Building at Rampura in Dhaka. I went to perticipate in the program with numbers of children on request of the producer himself. We got a rehearsal room; I had two group songs. On the day of shooting I suddenly fall in fever, serious fever. But as I determined to take part there my mother finally compelled me to take there on my request and courage. But it was a matter of regret that at final moment in felt too bad and that was quiet impossible to stay in thousand watt light inside. I rashed out and lied out of the set. And at last I had no name, no face on TV screen. And that is the first experience in front of light-camera and my action.
